Wild Play Sessions

Discover the joys of outdoor exploration and child-led play with our Tilstock Wild Play sessions, led by a qualified Forest School Leader at Tilstock Primary School. These FREE weekly sessions are designed for toddlers and pre-schoolers aged 1 to 5 years old, accompanied by a parent, grandparent, or guardian.

Join us every Wednesday morning (during term time) from 9:00 am to 9:45 am in our dedicated Forest School area on our school field site. The first session kicks off on Wednesday 5th June 2024, at 9:00 am.

Your child’s adventure is in safe hands with our accredited Forest School Leader, Michelle Jones, guiding the sessions. There’s no need to book in advance – simply come along and join us! Additional parking will be available at Tilstock Village Hall.

Tilstock Wild Play offers a unique opportunity for children to engage in sensory, child-led outdoor play. Through exploration and discovery in the natural environment, children are encouraged to stimulate their curiosity, develop understanding, and engage in self-reflection.

Forest School is a long term holistic learning process and by taking part in these sessions, your child will have the chance to:

– Boost their self-esteem and self-confidence.
– Enhance teamwork skills.
– Expand their knowledge and abilities.
– Develop fine and gross motor skills.
– Cultivate an appreciation for the outdoors and nature.

Let your child experience the benefits of outdoor play in a supportive and nurturing environment. Whether it’s making new friends, exploring nature, or honing essential skills, our Forest School sessions offer a brilliant opportunity for your child to develop and reap the benefits of the great outdoors. See you at Tilstock Wild Play!
