“We are the Tilstock Pupil Worship Leaders. Our role is to support and enhance the spiritual life of the school community by leading and participating in worship activities.”
Our main responsibilities are:
- Leading Assemblies: Assist in planning and leading school assemblies, including reading prayers, sharing reflections, and introducing hymns or songs.
- Organising Worship Activities: Help organise and set up for worship activities, ensuring that all necessary materials and resources are prepared.
- Encouraging Participation: Encourage fellow pupils to participate in worship activities and create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome.
- Role Modeling: Demonstrate positive behavior and attitudes that reflect the school’s values and ethos, serving as a role model for other pupils.
- Supporting Special Events: Assist in the preparation and execution of special religious events and celebrations throughout the school year.
- Feedback and Improvement: Provide feedback on worship activities and suggest improvements to make them more engaging and meaningful for the school community.

- Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire others with confidence and enthusiasm.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to effectively lead prayers and readings.
- Organisation: Good organisational skills to help plan and prepare for worship activities.
