Family Fun Day at Tilstock

 There is an aura of positivity at Tilstock C. of E. Primary School and Nursery as they hosted the first of many Family Fun Days recently.

The Fun Day featured a bouncy castle, a dog show sponsored by Petcetera, a variety of activities including decorate a gingerbread man and hook a duck, the spirits were high as everyone enjoyed the event.

The event was sponsored by Tilstock Tractors and RGM Construction attracted a sizable audience and included a variety of stalls selling local produce and treats.

Many of the stalls ran competitions for all attendees to get involved with and there was also a raffle supported by many local businesses.

The event was a huge success and raised an excellent £555.

The Family Fun Day was a fun filled afternoon enjoyed by all and preparations have already begun for the 2019 event.

Mr James Spicer, Head of School at Tilstock Primary School, commented: “The Fun Day was a wonderful day. It was very pleasing to host the event and we would like to thank the local people, businesses and stall holders for helping us by supporting the event. We are already excited for the 2019 Fun Day!”
