Tilstock CE Primary School: Gold Mark Triumph!
We are thrilled to announce that Tilstock CE Primary School has achieved the prestigious School Games Gold Mark Award for the academic year 2022/23.
The School Games Mark is a government-backed initiative introduced in 2012, administered by the Youth Sport Trust, which recognises schools for their unwavering commitment to fostering competitive spirit within their school and extending it into the broader community. We are overjoyed to have earned this recognition for our sporting progress.
Throughout this year, our school has had some remarkable sporting accomplishments and actively participated in various local and Marches Academy Trust inter-school competitions. We are immensely proud of our pupils for their unwavering dedication to all facets of school sports.
To attain this award, we diligently met specific criteria in key areas such as: participation, competition, workforce and clubs. We are delighted that the hard work and dedication of everyone in our school has culminated in this recognition.
Looking ahead, we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to reapply for this accolade once again in 2024!
